Sabbath Bulletin for 8/23/2025

First Fruits Ministries will come together for the LORD's weekly Sabbath celebration, a Holy Convocation day, on 8/23/2025 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 60 Bailey Ave., Manchester, NH 03104 for a time of rest in the LORD. Our First Fruits Ministries Sabbath service will begin at 10:15 a.m. in-house, and then we will go live for our YouTube audience around 10:30-10:35 a.m., God willing.

During our in-house-only segment, we will listen to a summary of this week's Torah Portion, called Re'eh (See):  Deuteronomy 11:26-16:17; Isaiah 54:11-55:5; John 6:35-51.

During our in-house and online segment, Pastor Andrew J. Manuse will present the first message of a new series, called "Who Is Yeshua the Messiah?" This series will comprise a study of Christology, which focuses on the idenity, nature, and work of Messiah Yeshua relative to His divinity, humanity, mission, and position in the eternal plan. The introductory message will give an overview of why Messiah had to come and why we must declare that He is God.

During our second “rewind” service that will begin around 3 p.m. on 8/16/2025, Pastor Daniel Joseph of Corner Fringe Ministries will deliver his message, called "The Good Samaritan, Part A," which is the 34th part in his "Parables" series. Whether you're new to First Fruits Ministries, just checking us out, or a veteran member, we welcome you to join us for our monthly Bible study either in-house in our basement meeting room at 60 Bailey Ave., Manchester, NH, or online via Zoom (pre-registration required) and bring your questions to explore in real time with Pastor Andrew for live Bible exploration. Doors will open at 7:45 p.m. in house and online, and content will begin at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, 8/26/2025. First Fruits' monthly "Ask the Pastor" Bible study is the appropriate time to bring the questions you've been grappling with concerning certain Bible passages or concepts that you just can't grasp. Our goal will be to address more than one question each month. Consequently, more complex questions may not be completely answered and may require a reference to one of our ministries' sermons or previous Bible studies on the topic. Additionally, we would prefer you did not bring teachings from outside ministries for discussion, but keep questions based on topics relative to the faith that can be addressed through study of the Word of God.

The world is turning against Israel, and prophecy is unfolding in real time. Pastor Daniel Joseph of Corner Fringe Ministries joins Elizabeth Farah of World Net Daily to connect the promises God made to Abraham with the global shift we are witnessing today. Nations and leaders are openly challenging Israel’s right to exist. Ancient warnings speak of a time when every nation will be drawn into conflict over Jerusalem, and that time is beginning to take shape. Israel’s rebirth in 1948, the creation of powerful global bodies that now pressure her borders, and the rapid spread of antisemitism in culture and even within churches are all part of a pattern foretold long ago. The issue is not just political or cultural. It is spiritual. Standing with or against Israel is tied to blessing or judgment, life or destruction. This is a moment for clarity. The dividing lines are being drawn, and the decision each person makes will matter for eternity.

Pastor Andrew and family will be in town to lead celebration of Yom Teruah (The Day of Trumpets/Shouting) and Yom Kippur (The Day of Atonement), and we will also take part in a two-church Prayer evening on Sept. 28 for the 10 Days of Prayer in collaboration with Calvary Chapel Manchester. Please note: The Manuse family will depart for Minnesota to take part in Corner Fringe Ministries' Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles/Booths) celebration. Elder Todd will be leading the Sukkot celebration for First Fruits Ministries, and First Fruits will welcome a guest preacher for the Oct. 11 Shabbat celebration in the sukkah, which will be set up in the First Fruits parking lot. Within our series, "Elementary Principles of Messiah Yeshua," First Fruits Ministries covered the topic of baptisms and what they mean for new believers in Messiah Yeshua. The four sermons delivered during the Spring of 2025 present a great preview of what baptism entails for everyone considering it. We believe baptism is an urgent, obedient act that we are called to do as part of our sanctification, and through baptism we are buried with Yeshua, and then we are also raised up with Him into a new life through faith.

Pastor Kraig's son Grant Dorney led the way in our community by giving his testimony of transformation from darkness to light and from death to life in Messiah Yeshua on 6/14/2025. If anyone else would like to give his or her own testimony after our weekly sermon, please talk to Pastor Andrew privately about your interest so he can determine whether and when you could go on camera. Understand that truly transformational testimonies have huge potential to change hearts and minds and build up God's people.
