Sabbath Bulletin for 4/18

First Fruits Ministries will come together for the LORD's weekly Sabbath celebration, a Holy Convocation day on 4/18/2026 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. EDT at 60 Bailey Ave., Manchester, NH 03104 for a time of rest in the LORD. Our First Fruits Ministries Sabbath service will begin at 10:15 a.m. in-house, and then we will go live for our YouTube audience around 10:30-10:35 a.m., God willing.

During our in-house-only segment, we will listen to a summary of this week's double Torah Portion called: Tazria-Mtzora (Conceived-Leper): Leviticus 12:1-15:33; Isaiah 66:1-24; Mark 9:40-50. Please study these passages during Erev Shabbat (the evening before the Sabbath day) on Bible Gateway or Logos.

During our in-house and online segment, Pastor Andrew J. Manuse will present Part 27 of his series, called "Who Is Yeshua the Messiah?," which will focus on prayer to Yeshua as our LORD and our God. This series will comprise a study of Christology, which focuses on the identity, nature, and work of Messiah Yeshua relative to His divinity, humanity, mission, and position in the eternal plan.

When you feel the need to watch YouTube for Biblical exploration, we encourage you to check these pages and our own YouTube page first for teachings you haven't seen. While we can't say we've included every good and available resource, we believe it's best to avoid the confusion generated by viewing questionable doctrines from other ministries.

That being said, the best way to learn more about God is to read His Word in the Bible and pray for His guidance, and we do hope you are doing that daily. We also urge you to attend weekly Shabbat services and our weekly and monthly Bible studies in person, as well as our discipleship offerings through Corner Fringe Ministries. 

First Fruits Ministries will gather from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. EDT on 5/24/2026 for the Feast of Weeks, which is called Shavuot in Hebrew and Pentecost in Greek. This celebration is open to all faithful followers of Yeshua. Doors open at 2 p.m. We will be celebrating Oneg first for a late lunch/early dinner, and then afterward participating in Corner Fringe Ministries' livestream at 5 p.m. for our service.

"You shall bring in from your dwelling places two loaves of bread for a wave offering, made of two-tenths of an ephah; they shall be of fine flour, baked with leaven as first fruits to the LORD." (Leviticus 23:17)  Shavuot commemorates three things: the day the first fruits of the wheat harvest were brought into the temple; the day the Law was written on stone by the Finger of God (Holy Spirit); and the day the Law began to be written on hearts through the Holy Spirit.

Please take off of work from 5/22/2026 sundown for the Sabbath until 5/24/2026 sundown, because the Feast of Weeks (Shavuot/Pentecost) is a Sabbath Day.

The Counting of the Omer began on Firstfruits (4/5/2026) and continues until Pentecost/Shavuot on 5/24/2026 this year. Here is a devotional to use during that time period created by Pastor Mike Sutcliffe of CFM Dixon. You are invited to contemplate the LORD's purpose for this on your own.

Based on the book "The Bondage Breaker" by Neil T. Anderson, our Bondage Breaker Class is a 12-week online course about spiritual warfare. The course will be led by FFM Pastor Andrew J. Manuse and Fellow Fringer Anna North.

The next Bondage Breaker course will begin on 5/27/2026 and will run through 8/12/2026. Classes will start at 8 p.m. EDT and end at 9:30 EDT on the Fourth Day of the Week for a 12-week commitment. All men and women (in-house or online attendees) are invited to apply for the class.

If interested, email Discipleship@cornerfringe.com. You will be sent a questionnaire to fill out to evaluate your spiritual readiness for the class. Registration deadline is May 13.

Those interested in joining our Mighty Men or Women of Valor discipleship programs will need this class as a pre-requisite.

For those who are free during the late morning and early afternoon, we invite you to join us for a Bible Study and discussion every Wednesday (except the third Wednesday of the month) from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Coffee Factory in Derry, NH. Pastor Andrew goes out into the community each week to make himself and the Word of God available to all who want to explore God's Truth with him. Please just pull up a chair and join in the discussion during the available times. As long as you're there between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., there is no being "late" to this discussion. Come with a positive and inquisitive attitude that is seeking a deeper relationship with Yeshua the Messiah and your brothers and sisters in the faith. All questions offered in "good faith" will be considered. You can find The Coffee Factory in the Shaw's Plaza in Derry, NH. This meeting is not available online.

Whether you're new to First Fruits Ministries, just checking us out, or a veteran member, we welcome you to join us for our monthly Bible study either in-house in our basement meeting room at 60 Bailey Ave., Manchester, NH, or online via Zoom (pre-registration required) and bring your questions to explore in real time with Pastor Andrew for live Bible exploration. Doors will open at 7:15 p.m. in house and online, and content will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, 4/28/2026.

First Fruits' monthly "Ask the Pastor" Bible study is the appropriate time to bring the questions you've been grappling with concerning certain Bible passages or concepts that you just can't grasp. Our goal will be to address more than one question each month. Consequently, more complex questions may not be completely answered and may require a reference to one of our ministries' sermons or previous Bible studies on the topic. Additionally, we would prefer you did not bring teachings from outside ministries for discussion, but keep questions based on topics relative to the faith that can be addressed through study of the Word of God.

Pastor Stephen Opoku, an Elder at First Fruits Ministries and Pastor for Corner Fringe Ministries, leads First Fruits Ministries' Signal Prayer group meeting each week at 9:30 a.m. on Fridays, with announced exceptions, to pray for God's will to be done at First Fruits Ministries. Members may choose to only join with an audio connection, though a video connection is also possible.

First Fruits Ministries is an affiliate of Corner Fringe Ministries, which is the leader of a council of churches that includes many members all around the world. First Fruits Ministries co-hosted a prayer night in early March with Calvary Chapel as part of the New England Revival Covenant. During the transformational event, Pastor Andrew offered a devotional to help participants break away from bondage agreements and make agreements with God's Word instead, leading to freedom in Messiah Yeshua. At First Fruits Ministries, our mission is to proclaim the Gospel to the Jews, restore the Torah to Christians, and reveal the love of Yeshua that unites both Jews and Gentiles into one Body obedient to God—bringing unbelievers to faith, believers to deeper trust in the LORD with all their hearts, souls, minds, and strength, and making disciples of all nations, teaching all to repent and follow Yeshua, our LORD and our God.

As part of walking in this mission, we go out from Sunday through Friday each week to share the reason for the hope that is in us, and then gather every Sabbath Day to worship, rest, and be renewed in His presence. Our goal is to plant seeds and water them in the hearts of our neighbors, praying for the LORD to bring the increase in trust and faithfulness. When people respond with hearts wholly seeking God, we joyfully welcome them into worship and fellowship.

The purpose of this card is to direct people to the sound teachings produced by First Fruits Ministries, Corner Fringe Ministries, and our sister communities, and to invite potential congregants to join us in celebrating the Sabbath and advancing this shared mission. Pastor Kraig's son Grant Dorney led the way in our community by giving his testimony of transformation from darkness to light and from death to life in Messiah Yeshua on 6/14/2025. If anyone else would like to give his or her own testimony after our weekly sermon, please talk to Pastor Andrew privately about your interest so he can determine whether and when you could go on camera. Understand that truly transformational testimonies have huge potential to change hearts and minds and build up God's people.

Let Grant's leadership be our guide. Please also share his story with those who will benefit from hearing it. Thanks to Grant for his willingness to lead in this way and for Yeshua for His long-suffering and mercy, "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28).
