"Reborn to Flourish" is an exposition of Proverbs 6:16-19—a passage that identifies seven things opposed to God's heart. At the center of the passage is the love God has for His children and His call for us to return to Him. The series will work backward through the list, identifying discord as a fruit that comes forth from a heart rooted in pride and other fleshly concerns. It will then emphasize God's transformational love that will revitalize the root and send forth tender branches and bountiful fruit.
Topics covered in Part 1: The heart of discord is pride; it is the root of evil that feeds into this fruit, causing havoc in the kingdom God is building. The only remedy for this poison is a humble heart that submits to the instruction of God on account of the redemption we have in Yeshua.
