Sabbath Bulletin for 8/22

First Fruits Ministries will come together for the LORD's weekly Sabbath celebration, a Holy Convocation day on 8/22/2026 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. EDT at 60 Bailey Ave., Manchester, NH 03104 for a time of rest in the LORD. Our First Fruits Ministries Sabbath service will begin at 10:15 a.m. in-house, and then we will go live for our YouTube audience around 10:30-10:35 a.m., God willing.

During our in-house-only segment, we will listen to a summary of this week's Torah Portion called: PARASHAT Ki Tetze — (When You Go Forth): Deuteronomy 21:10–25:19; Isaiah 54:1–10; Matthew 24:29–42. Please study these passages during Erev Shabbat (the evening before the Sabbath day) on our Bread of Life Bible Study Platform or on Logos.

During our in-house and online segment, Pastor Andrew J. Manuse will present the ninth and final message in his series, called "Reborn to Flourish," which will add to our exposition of Proverbs 6:16-19—a passage that identifies seven things opposed to God's heart. At the center of the passage is the love God has for His children and His call for us to return to Him. The series has worked backward through the list, identifying pride as the foundation of a wicked heart focused on the world and the flesh resulting in discord, and humility as the foundation of a heart that can receive God's Holy Spirit and sow the seeds of peace. When we have humble hearts, God can plant His transformational love, revitalize the root, and send forth tender branches and bountiful fruit. In our final message of the series, we're going to discuss the fruits that ought to come forth from a heart of humility that allows God's love to flow through it.

Because Corner Fringe is a live service again (for those who remember our early days), we will be treating the second service with the same reverence as our own in-person service from now on. That being said, the best way to learn more about God and build your relationship with Him is to read His Word in the Bible and pray for His guidance, and we do hope you are doing this daily. We also urge you to attend weekly Shabbat services and our regular Bible studies, and also participate in our discipleship offerings through Corner Fringe Ministries. 

For those who are free during the late morning and early afternoon, we invite you to join us for a Bible Study and discussion every Wednesday (except the third Wednesday of the month) from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Coffee Factory in Derry, NH. Pastor Andrew goes out into the community each week to make himself and the Word of God available to all who want to explore God's Truth with him. Please just pull up a chair and join in the discussion during the available time. As long as you're there between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., there is no being "late" to this discussion. Come with a positive and inquisitive attitude that is seeking a deeper relationship with Yeshua the Messiah and your brothers and sisters in the faith. All questions offered in "good faith" will be considered. You can find The Coffee Factory in the Shaw's Plaza in Derry, NH. This meeting is not available online.

SUKKOT / FEAST OF TABERNACLES

Pastor Manuse and family are offering our forest-surrounded front yard as a place for our community to set up their tents during the Feast of Sukkot this year. Details are still being worked out, but we would like everyone to set up for Erev Sukkot/Erev Shabbat on 9/25/2026 and to tear down on 10/4/2026. The Manuse's will open their home for showers, cooking, grilling and whatever else is needed. This event will NOT be open to the public. It will be invite-only for existing members of our fellowship and affiliate network. As a Feast of the LORD, this will require everyone attending to bring their own offering to the LORD for their provision. We are still contemplating whether Shabbat services (also Sukkot services) will be held at the church or on site at the Manuse property, but we are leaning toward holding services at the Manuse property only for those two Shabbats. Please stay-tuned for more details.

What you can do on the app:
- Read and study Scripture (multiple translations plus the original Hebrew and Greek and lexicons) 
- Access the non-canonical texts we study together
- Join or create study groups to work through reading plans with one another.
- Study commentaries and video teachings from pastors in our affiliate network of churches.
- Ask the Pastors a question.

How to join:
The platform is invite-only to protect our congregation. All members must be approved by Pastor Andrew or one of the Corner Fringe Affiliate pastors.

Two ways to request access:
1. Text me your email address, and I'll send you a sign-up link both by email and text. This is the better option for signing up.
2. Go to https://breadoflife.firstfruits.cc and sign up on your own—I'll approve your membership and you'll receive a login email. Note: If you select this option, first, you'll have to wait for a pastor's approval, and second: approval emails often end up in spam, so check there if you don't see the email.

Importantly:
You can run this new application on your desktop, on your Tablet/iPad, on your Android/iPhone via a web browser or you can download it as an app. It's easier to download as an app on Android, and if you want to download the computer app, use Chrome. But there is a way to do it on Apple products, also, which the app itself explains in the Settings menu. Paying for access to the App store is not worth it, so we're using the back-door approach. What's coming:
This is a soft launch—the platform is stable and ready to use now. Over time, we'll add additional reading plans, which you can recommend, as well as discipleship and course features.

First Fruits' monthly "Ask the Pastor" Bible study is the appropriate time to bring the questions you've been grappling with concerning certain Bible passages or concepts that you just can't grasp. Our goal will be to address more than one question each month. Consequently, more complex questions may not be completely answered and may require a reference to one of our ministries' sermons or previous Bible studies on the topic. Additionally, we would prefer you did not bring teachings from outside ministries for discussion, but keep questions based on topics relative to the faith that can be addressed through study of the Word of God.
