Choose This Day Whom You Will Serve
In this sermon, we talk about “artificial intelligence.” The message was intended to help us make it in faithfulness through the days ahead, because our walk is going to get more challenging, and we need to be ready. At the surface, AI is a new technology—a new tool, really—which can legitimately be used to accomplish various practical tasks, even for the glory of God’s kingdom. This message does not speak against that use case. But there remains a significant risk for AI to be relied upon as a master or counselor, and such dependence presents as a type of idolatry we need to avoid. God alone is our master, counselor and deliverer. This sermon details the risks.
