Purim Starts Monday, March 6 at Sundown

Purim is Tuesday, March 7, starting March 6 at sunset.
The story of Purim is found in the book of Esther and commemorates God's deliverance of the Jewish people through the selfless acts of a young, Jewish woman who became queen. Although it is not a commanded festival, we read in scripture: "So these days were to be remembered and celebrated throughout every generation, every family, every province, and every city; and these days of Purim were not to fail from among the Jews, or their memory fade from their descendants." (Esther 9:28)
Ways to Celebrate:
~ Read through the book of Esther ~
~ Give to the needy and less fortunate ~
~ Host a festive dinner with friends ~
~ Spend time in prayer and thanksgiving ~
~ Watch 'The Story of Esther' Series ~
