Sabbath Bulletin for 9/23/2023

Hello Brothers and Sisters in Messiah Yeshua! Please pray for our continued humility and contrition before the Lord as we look to Yeshua for the forgiveness of our sins and as our advocate before the judgment seat of God. First Fruits Ministries will meet on the Sabbath Day on 9/23/2023 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 60 Bailey Ave., Manchester, NH 03104 for a time of rest in the Lord. We will meet again on the Second Day of the Week 9/25/2023 at 11:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. for Yom Kippur at 60 Bailey Ave., Manchester, NH 03104 for a time of affliction before the Lord.

During our First Fruits Ministries Sabbath service this week, which begins promptly at 10:30 a.m., Pastor Andrew will deliver a message loosely based on the Torah Portion for this week, which is Deuteronomy 31:1-32:52; 2 Samuel 22:1-51; Hosea 14:2-10; Micah 7:18-20; Joel 2:15-27; Isaiah 55:6-56:8; John 6:26-35; Romans 10:1-17; Romans 10:17-11:12; Romans 12:19; Romans 15:9-10: https://tinyurl.com/23jurz5n.

During our second “rewind” service starting at 2 p.m., one of my Mighty Men brothers, Stephen Opoku, will be delivering the Corner Fringe Ministries sermon from Amos 3:3, called “Can Two Walk Together, Except They Be Agreed?”: https://cornerfringeministries.subspla.sh/xz9gpy9. I’m particularly looking forward to seeing my brother preach and participating in liturgy and worship with our Corner Fringe extended family. As a reminder: Yom Kippur begins on the First Day of the Week at sunset, and faithful followers of Yeshua should be fasting (no food or water) from sunset on 9/24/2023 to sunset on 9/25/2023 to honor the commandment of the Lord that we afflict our souls. Children under 9 and the elderly or infirm may consider eating light on that day. Our Yom Kippur Service on 9/25/2023, where there will be no food or water served, will begin promptly at 11:45 a.m. as a Corner Fringe livestream service only. Please arrive by 11:30 a.m. at the latest. We will have fellowship afterward for prayer and quiet contemplation, and will plan to leave around 4 p.m.

May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord shine the light of His face upon you and be gracious to you; and may the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and grant you shalom!

יברכך יהוה וישמרך
יאר יהוה פניו אליך ויחנך
ישא יהוה פניו אליך וישם לך שׁלום

As for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord.
