Sabbath Bulletin for 8/10/2024

Shalom Brothers and Sisters in Messiah Yeshua. Please pray for the LORD to unite us in worship of our God together with His Holy Spirit during our week apart from one another. First Fruits Ministries will NOT be meeting in person this Shabbat, 8/10/2024, because the Manuse family is visiting Corner Fringe Ministries in Minnesota, and Pastor Andrew is asking for you to prepare for a day of home church for this Shabbat only. You are encouraged to meet with one another in a home of your choice.

Please watch Corner Fringe Ministries starting at noon EST tomorrow, for Pastor Andrew will be delivering a message for the Corner Fringe congregation, called "Walk on Water." You may tune in at noon by following this link: https://www.youtube.com/live/oUyXP7LOB0w.
In lieu of our First Fruits Ministries service at 10:30 a.m., please consider watching the following three messages from last year around this time, which cover the end of Numbers and beginning of Deuteronomy with a spiritual warfare theme. These messages were presented around the time the church basement flooded, and praise be to God He has helped us recover from that challenge. Hopefully the themes discussed will help you work through any spiritual battle that you're presently facing, and help you prepare for any that are yet to come. Here are those sermons in order:

"Stand Against the Enemies of God": https://youtu.be/ulusHaJezQc
"Let Us Not Be Tempted" (this week's Torah Portion): https://youtu.be/tHH8v5ezqrs
"What is the Mark of God?": https://youtu.be/LxEaDcD7jOI

The Torah Portion Readings for this week, called "Devarim (דְּבָרִים)" or "Words," include Deuteronomy 1:1-3:22; Isaiah 1:1-27; Matthew 3:1-12; Matthew 24:1-22; Acts 7:51–8:4.

Plan ahead

May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord shine the light of His face upon you and be gracious to you; and may the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and grant you shalom!

יברכך יהוה וישמרך
יאר יהוה פניו אליך ויחנך
ישא יהוה פניו אליך וישם לך שׁלום

As for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord.
